Courmayeur Mont Blanc has beautiful cross-country trails, alltogether totalling 30km of tracks. The best ones are the 5 tracks covering 20km in Val Ferret. In Dolonne there are also some short tracks.
Val Ferret Slopes - This course covers two valleys at the foot of Mont Blanc. The groomed trails start at Planpincieux (1,580m) and develop down the valley Lavachey.
Cogne is one of Italy's prime spots for cross country skiing.
Other cross country tracks can be found in the following areas:
- Arpy Slopes - The captivating scenery and excellent cross-country skiing where the slopes vary between 2km and 7.5km of track surrounded by the magnificent setting of the Alpy Valley. Regional and national competitions take place annually in this area.
- Entrèves which has a blue circuit track of 3.2 km.
- Dolonne which has a blue circuit track 4km - ideal for intermediate cross country skiers.
