One of the smaller races but dont underestimate it - it too constitues one of the most difficult challenges in ultra-trail. Within the first few kilometres it quickly leads to 2500m of altitude to one of the most exceptional panoramas one can imagine, facing the Mont-Blanc and the Grandes Jorasses. A mountainous event with numerous sections at altitude, in sometimes extreme weather conditions (night, cold, wind, rain or snow), requiring a very good level of fitness and a real capacity for personal autonomy. The race starts in Courmayeur - Aosta Valley and finishes in Chamonix following some wild, untracked areas of the Aoste, Tarentaise and Beaufortain mountains. PTL - La Petite Trotte a Leon
An ultra endurance event of an 'enlarged Tour du Mont Blanc' covering a distance of 290km with about 22,000m of positive height gain and within a time limit of 138hours. The route crosses the massif surrounding the highest summit of the Alps on paths sometimes difficult and even non-existent.
